Sandwiches are so last year! Swap that bland bread for a tortilla and prepare for a delectable dish that you’ll never forget. Not only is this delicious, it’s also fast and simple. Now, you won’t have to go all the way to Subway to “eat fresh.” You can make this in the comfort of your own home or you could make it in the street and exclaim to all of your neighbors how fun it is to make. They say “if you’ve got it, flaunt it” and with this recipe, you’ve got it. So, flaunt it.
This recipe makes a single wrap
Time: 15-20 minutes
– an 8-inch Tortilla
– 2 cold cut turkey slices
– 3-4 tomato slices
– 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
– 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
– 2 slices of bacon(optional)
– mayonnaise or cream cheese(optional)
*(Optional) Heat a medium-sized pan over medium heat. Cook bacon until done. Layer with other fillings.*
1.) Rip lettuce into small pieces with hands. Rinse lettuce with cold water.
2.) Grate cheese with a cheese grater.
3.) Slice tomato.
5.) Place tortilla onto microwave-safe plate and cover with damp paper towel. Heat in microwave for 25 seconds.
6.) Spread mayonnaise or cream cheese on tortilla(to taste).
7.) Layer turkey, tomato slices, lettuce bacon and cheese on tortilla. Make sure to leave a 2 inch space on one side of tortilla.
8.) Roll tortilla with fillings toward space to create a cylinder shape.
9.) (Optional) Refrigerate for 10 minutes
